Ownership Economy
"Own the platform" sounds different when you read the allocation table.
01Dictionary Meaning
The ownership economy describes models that give users or contributors an economic stake or governance rights in services they help build or sustain.
02What People Think
"If users receive tokens, power and value are shared."
03What’s Underneath
An allocation can give contributors a genuine stake. Its significance depends on the rights attached, the portion distributed and the influence retained by founders or investors.
Users may receive a small tradeable reward while important decisions remain concentrated elsewhere. Alternatively, a carefully designed arrangement can give participation durable economic value and meaningful control.
Ownership also carries exposure. A stake that rises and falls with the project is different from reliable pay for work already completed.
04The Game
What share of value and decision-making reaches contributors, and what risks or responsibilities come with it?
05One Line
Shared ownership starts with what is shared, not with the word "community."
